The stars of New England Championship Wrestling will be in attendance at a very special personal apperance as the American Hockey League’s Lowell Devils take on the Portland Pirates on Saturday, January 16 at 1:30 PM at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA.

World Women’s Wrestling Champion, Alexxis Neveah and NECW Television Champion, “The Heat” Kris Pyro will be among the NECW stars signing free autographs during the game.

Tonight’s NECW event at the National Guard Armory in Quincy, MA, which was to be the premiere TV taping for Comcast SportsNet, has been cancelled due to an impending blizzard that looks to dump nearly two feet of snow in some areas.

NECW co-owner & promoter Sheldon Goldberg said, “We felt it was in the best interests of our talent, staff and fans to cancel the event rather than risk anyone’s health and well being in hazardous weather conditions. Obviously, this was to be a huge night for us, but the safety of all has to be our primary concern. We hope to have information on a re-scheduled taping on Monday.”

Fans who are currently holding tickets for tonight’s event may use those tickets at the next event or any future NECW event. Refunds will be issued at the point of purchase.
