New England Championship Wrestling celebrated it’s 10th anniversary with two big events at the National Guard Armory in Quincy, MA on Saturday night, August 7 and Sunday afternoon, August 8.

Saturday Night, August 7th, was night one of the BIRTHDAY BASH 10 celebration.

DC Dillinger got the party started and the Quincy crowd on their feet, calling himself “Mr. Birthday Bash” for the special occasion. “Real Natural’s” music hit and out came “The Rock God” Brett Adams to a chorus of boos. After Adams insulted the audience, he informed everyone that Scott Osbourne was unable to eliminate D.C Dillinger from NECW competition with his backstage assult two weeks ago, he fired him from Real Natural and allowed the NECW front office to terminate his contract effective immediately. Adams promised there would be a new member of Real Natural and that he would be introduced later in the evening. Adams then welcomed to the ring an “old friend” of Dillinger, “The Manager of Champions” Sean Gorman. Gorman said Adams gave him a call asking him for help in taking out Dillinger, and he knew exactly who could get the job done. Gorman went on to introduce Dillinger to his opponent…his former tag team partner and best friend….”Die Hard” Eddie Edwards! Edwards claimed that he got a call from Gorman who convinced him to catch a late flight from Japan to make it to Birthday Bash in order to defeat Dillinger and achieve the one thing he was never able to …become NECW Triple Crown Champion. Edwards apologized for what was forthcoming…and pounced on his best friend… DC managed to survive the amazing hard-hitting of Edwards to win the match by pinfall. After the match, the Quincy faithful gave both men an ovation for a tremendous opening match. Dillinger offered his friend a handshake, Edwards turns his back and proceeded to exit the arena, as a furious Brett Adams stormed to the ring. With Adams setting the diversion, Julian Starr came through the crowd, jumped the rail and started beating down Dillinger in the ring. Edwards returned to the ring to fight off Starr and Adams. Dillinger rose to his feet while Edwards extended his hand, and the two embraced in the ring to a standing ovation. Sean Gorman entered the ring and it looked like a complete “Sabotage” reunion…until Dillinger and Edwards embraced Gorman with a double clothesline that sent their former manager to the floor and the Quincy crowd into a frenzy!

In the next match The G3 Network - “Sensational” Scott Levesque and “Gorgeous” Gino Giovanni, with Sammi Lane - defeated “Handsome” Johnny Hayes in a handicap match following a a double DDT.

Next up was “Pat’s Pit” with Pat “The Brat” Piper.  Piper welcomed everyone to the BASH and said he’s in such a celebratory mood, that he feels like doing an Irish jig. He asks if anyone in the crowd wanted to join him in the ring and dance. Piper picks out a little boy who is helped over the rail and into the ring. Piper instructs the kid to do his best jig to his theme music…and the boy proceeded to bring the crowd to its feet with an amazing dancing display.  Just as an impressed Piper was about to dance, “The Rock God” Brett Adams and NECW Triple Crown Champion “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke returned to ringside and started to insult the little boy’s looks. Adams paused, and identified the boy as color commentator Joe Matterazzo’s son. He then proceeded to berate the youngster, until dad took off the headset and entered the ring. Adams and Locke began insulting Matterazzo and his entire family who were sitting at ringside, which made Matterazzo take off his jacket with intention to defend his son and his family. Matterazzo charged Locke, and was spinebustered to the canvas, dislocating his shoulder. Rican Havoc and D.C Dillinger ran down to the ring to clean house and help Joe to the back.

In a mixed tag team match, NECW BREAKTHROUGH BASH Winner “Iron” Ray Kejimura & World Women’s Wrestling Champion Mistress Belmont, without Sean Gorman were scheduled to face off with “The Payne Train” Alex Payne & Alexxis Nevaeh. Payne came to the ring and let the fans know that he had been injured by the G3 Network and was unable to compete. NECW allowed him to pick his replacement, and so he was proud to announce the guy that he felt was the real MVP of the BREAKTHROUGH BASH tournament, Vinny Marseglia.  The team of Marseglia & Nevaeh were victorious when Marseglia scored the pin on Kejimura after Belmont and Nevaeh brawled to the back.

In one of the most brutal and ruthless matches in NECW history, the NECW Television Champion “The Heat” Kris Pyro defended the title against his former friend and tag team partner “The King of New York” Davey Cash in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match. The match ultimately ended when Cash knocked out Pyro with a steel chair shot onto a table balanced on a camera platform and climbed up to the top of the 20-foot steel NECW-Tron staging structure. “The King of New York” leaped off with a “Superfly-like” Splash and crashed onto Pyro going through the table and platform! Both men were rendered unconcious and referee Rich Bass put an end to the match declaring neither was able to continue. As a result of the no contest, Pyro remains the NECW Television Champion.

After an intermission break to clean up after the TLC match, “Kingpin” Brian Milonas and “The Enforcer” Max Bauer faced off in a No Disqualification, No Countout grudge match.  For the first time in years, Bauer met his physical equal in the ring.  Milonas scored the win via pinfall with a near 400-pound springboard crossbody. After the match, Milonas attempted to end Bauer’s career and to collect Brett Adams’ $10,000 bounty with an “Earthquake” running squash onto a steel chair, Bauer protected himself at the last second by bringing the chair up between Milonas’ legs during his landing. Bauer subsequently then gave Milonas two chair shots to the head and a “Bauer Bomb” for good measure. This feud is far from over.

In a match for the NECW Tag Team Championship, the champions Rican Havoc (Jose Perez & Don Vega) defeated “The Talent” T.J Richter & Mr. Munroe with Mr. Mini-roe with a double team maneuver to retain the titles.

In the main event for the NECW Triple Crown Championship, “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke  with “The Rock God” Brett Adams defended his title against the Puerto Rican star Ryan Bisbal with Ivy in his corner. In what ended up being one of the best title defenses in recent NECW history, Bisbal came close several times to capturing the title.   Brandon Locke finally was able to secure the win and retain the title by pinning Bisbal after a 2nd Locke-down slam.

On Sunday Afternoon, August 8th, World Women’s Wrestling returned to the National Guard Armory for the second day of the 10th Anniversary BIRTHDAY BASH 10 celebration.

In the opening contest, Taeler Hendrix, fresh off of tough losses to two of the top women wrestlers in the world, returned to WWW/NECW competition with a pinfall victory over Kimaya with a spin kick.

The next match featured two of the WWW stars from outside of the New England region as former Soul Sistah Jana faced off with the Valley Girl, Roxie Cotton.  Before the match Roxie was trying to get Jana to dance with her, like in her Soul Sista days, but Jana retorted with an assault, Cotton came back with tremendous offensive moves, but ultimately Jana turned to a familiar tactic, grabbing a chain stashed in her top, to knock out Roxie for the win.

The final match of the first portion of the day was a special challenge ladies tag. “The Portuguese Princess” Ariel returned to WWW, the company she helped gain popularity and credibility in its premiere years, tagged with the G3 Network’s Sammi Lane. They faced off with two women making their official WWW event debuts as Puerto Rico’s own IVY tagged with a new talented wrestler named Mercedes in her very first professional match.  Mercedes listened to her veteran partner and that helped lead to IVY and Mercedes scoring the win as IVY pinned Sammi for the victory. This was one of the best women’s tag matches in NECW’s ten year history.

After the NECW TV Taping portion of the event, the stage was set for the huge main event.  For the first time in NECW and WWW history, two women would do battle in a steel cage to decide the World Women’s Wrestling Championship, as defending champion Mistress Belmont, accompanied by Sean Gorman, faced off with former champion Alexxis Nevaeh. The match began outside the cage as the two ladies brawled through the crowd and finally into the cage. Alexxis showed an aggressive side many were shocked by, throwing Belmont face first into the cage numerous times and lacerating her head.  Both women took a ton of punishment.  Finally, as Belmont attempted to crawl for the door and Alexxis attempted to go over the top of the cage, the race for the gold was on. As Alexxis swung over the top of the cage, she intentionally kicked the cage door, which swung right into the head of Belmont, sending her sprawling backward and allowing Alexxis to win the match and the WWW Championship for an unprecedented third time. After the match Sean Gorman attempted to ruin Nevaeh’s moment, but was ceremoniously also thrown face first into the steel cage. The fans in attendance stood on their feet celebrating the new champion’s win and the close of an amazing 10th anniversary spectacular.

New England Championship Wrestling debuted Saturday night, July 17, 2010 at the Tyngsboro Sports Center with an action-packed card featuring three title bouts and an impromptu cage match!

In the opening contest, “Handsome” Johnny Hayes defeated Julian Starr with a spin kick.

Before the next match could be announced, NECW Triple Crown Champion “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke and Ryan Bisbal brawled from the backstage area to ringside. NECW’s Sheldon Goldberg threatened suspension of both and stripping the Triple Crown Championship off of Locke if they didn’t break up the fight immediately. Goldberg reminded both that the main event was a non-title match with the stipulations if Locke won, Ivy was his valet for 30 days, and if Bisbal won he’d get to wrestle one last time for the Triple Crown at Birthday Bash.  Goldberg then announced that to keep the main event,  free of interference and to have a decisive winner the match would take place in a steel cage.

In a match for the NECW Tag Team Titles, reigning champions Rican Havoc (”Punisher” Don Vega and “That Freakin’ Rican” Jose Perez) defeated the team of “The Talent” TJ Richter and Mr. Munroe with a modified bearhug elbowdrop combo to retain the titles.

With the World Women’s Wrestling title on the line, current champion Mistress Belmont, with her manager “The Manager of Champions” Sean Gorman, bested Puerto Rican sensation Ivy by submission with a cross face-chicken wing.

Next up was an NECW TV Title match. TV Champion “The Heat” Kris Pyro defended against archrival “The King of New York” David Cash. Fans were swinging their NECW rally towels supporting Pyro to a successful defense when he countered Cash’s attempt at a TKO with a small package.

After the intermission was the main event. A non-title cage match with the previously mentioned stipulations between NECW Triple Crown Champion “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke, with the “Rock God” Brett Adams, and Ryan Bisbal. Competitors could win by pinfall, submission or by escaping the cage.  Early in the match, Locke was lacerated on the steel cage and bled profusely throughout the match. Later, Julian Starr came to the ring attempting to hold the door closed as Bisbal tried to escape. “Handsome” Johnny Hayes made his return to the ring and bested Starr pummeling him from ringside. “The Rock God” then also attempted to prevent Bisbal from exiting the cage, but a Ivy ran to ringside and knocked him out with a forearm to the jaw. As the race was on to exit the cage, Locke crwled towards the door and Bisbal scaled the cage. Ivy slammed the door in the face of Locke and Bisbal dropped to the floor winning the match and the main event shot at the NECW Triple Crown on August 7th at Birthday Bash 10.

Saturday night, May 1, New England Championship Wrestling presented the 7th annual IRON 8 Championship at Teamworks Indoor Sports in Somerset, MA.

The night began with the announcement of some changes to the tournament line up.

Due to injuries, Ryan Bisbal and Scott Osbourne were not able to compete in the IRON 8. Taking Ryan Bisbal’s spot was his stablemate in Rican Havoc, “Punisher” Don Vega. Taking the place of “The Natural” Scott Osbourne was “The Payne Train” Alex Payne.

Both substitutions occurred only hours before the event, giving both men a decided disadvantage in their preparation for the tournament. Due to the last minute changes, some opening round match-ups were adjusted for seeding.

The show opened with a 20 minute live music set by Tester, the band who wrote and performs “King of the World”, the official theme song of the 7th annual IRON 8 Championship.

In the opening contest, “The Payne Train” Alex Payne defeated NY standout Dickie Rodz with a spear to advance to the IRON 8 finals.

“Sensational” Scott Levesque won his opening round IRON 8 match by making “Daddy Cat” DC Dillinger submit to a modified Indian Death Lock.

Handsome Johnny defeated “Punisher” Don Vega in a great match with a spin kick to advance to the finals.

In the final first round IRON 8 match, former ECW World Tag Team Champions The FBI, Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke were scheduled to face one another. Mamaluke first came out and declared that he owed much of the success in his career to Little Guido, but with no disrespect meant, he needed to forge ahead with his unique identity, the name he started wrestling under, CG Afi. The newly monikered CG Afi indeed forged ahead as he made his former tag team partner Little Guido submit to a half Boston crab for the win and advancement to the finals.

Intermission saw another 20 minute set by Tester.

In the special Champions Challenge, NECW Triple Crown Champion “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke defeated NECW Television Champion “The Heat” Kris Pyro. This match was fantastic, with Locke securing the win after delivering “The Locke-down” off the top rope. After the match, “The Hi-Lite” Davd Cssh stormed the ring and added insult to injury, leveling Pyro with a vicious chairshot to the head.

In the main event of the IRON 8 Championship, a 45-minute Iron Man match, Handsome Johnny defeated “Sensational” Scott Levesque, “The Payne Train” Alex Payne, and CG Afi; 2 Falls to 1 Fall for each of the competitors. CG Afi got the first fall of the match by submission. Alex Payne later pinned Levesque with a cradle suplex. Handsome Johnny won his first fall with a moonsault onto Payne. Levesque pinned Handsome Johnny by holding the tights. That particular fall led to Handsome and his protégé arguing about how it was supposed to be a clean match and how Levesque cheated. Payne and Afi brawled out a side door of the building and were seen/heard fighting throughout the area before returning to ringside with minutes left in the match. Handsome Johnny got the final fall of the match when Sammi Lane, who was at ringside for commentary, tried to intervene in the argument of her two charges. Levesque attempted to use her allegedly loaded Teddy Bear to knock out Handsome Johnny. NECW Senior Official Rich Bass saw this and grabbed the bear from Levesque, who then turned around right into a Handsome Johnny Spin Kick for the go-ahead fall.

The show ended with Handsome Johnny celebrating his win as Tester played “King of the World” and Handsome joined the band and sang along that he was now “King of the World”.

NOTE: Handsome Johnny and Alex Payne mark the two largest men to ever compete in an IRON 8 Finals to date. Both are roughly 40 pounds more than any other competitors in tournament history. Being touted as the ultimate test of skill, stamina, and strategy is taken to another level with men this size surviving the 45-minute regulation period.

As soon as his entrance music hits, fans of all ages scream and cheer.  The current NECW TV Champion Kris Pyro emerges from the curtain and radiates passion and excitement.  He feeds off the audience like gas to a flame.  Pyro, whose nickname is “The Heat,“ is far from the biggest guy on the NECW roster.  However, what he lacks in physical size, he more than makes up for in ring skills and personality.  NECW president, Sheldon Goldberg, recently said “Kris Pyro is one of those talents that create an immediate connection with the audience.  He’s one of the most popular wrestlers in NECW history.”

Kris was born in New Bedford Massachusetts in 1985.  For as long as he can remember, he has been a huge wrestling fan. He grew up admiring wrestlers like Shawn Michael, Ric Flair and Rey Mysterio.  Like a lot of kids who watched the sport, he dreamed of one day being in the ring himself performing for fans.  In 1999, Pyro made the call and began training in New Bedford under Brickhouse Baker , “Sweet” Scott Ashworth and “Nightmare” Nick Steele – all former NECW stars.

After training, he began wrestling all over New England and joined the NECW roster in November 2008, making his debut at The Toxic Waltz against Brendon Michael Thomas and also facing Brandon Locke in another match that evening.

Pyro showed the audience that night how much heart he had and gained a lot of respect from the fans and his peers.   In May 2009, Kris was one of eight men entered into the IRON 8 Championship Tournament.  Pyro considers this one of the biggest accomplishments in his career to date.  Although he didn’t win that night, he made his mark in NECW.  After less than a year in the promotion, “The Heat” beat Ryan Matthews in August 2009 to become the NECW Television Champion.  He has been successfully defending his title for the last 8 months taking on any challenger that comes his way.

Kris Pyro’s success is not a coincidence.  His arsenal of moves which include “The Afterburn” which is a tilt-a-whirl Headscissors driver and “The Five Star Frog Splash” make him a tough competitor to any of his opponents.  His style is very reminiscent of Rey Mysterio’s to which he has been called “The Rey Mysterio of NECW.” When mentioned to Kris his response was, “That is a huge compliment to me considering that Rey is one of my idols and I do think we have a lot of the same style.”  “The Heat’s” comparison to Mysterio goes beyond the ring with both men having a huge fan base. Kris calls his “The Ring Of Fire” and quotes “my fans are the ‘The Ring of Fire’, they surround the ring each time I step into it and they know I’m gonna light it on fire when I perform”.  He said his fans inspire him each time he performs and in particular his number one fan named Alex who has been going to all of his shows over the last two years.

“Pyro, in a lot of ways, epitomizes the spirit of NECW,” says Sheldon Goldberg.  “He is a local kid who worked his way up and paid his dues.  Once he had the chance to perform in NECW, and more people finally saw him, he caught on instantly because people identify with him.”

Pyro has already achieved so much in his short time in NECW, but has many more goals to achieve in the company.  His future goals include winning the coveted Triple Crown Championship and winning the IRON 8 Tournament.  For the kid who grew up dreaming of being like his heroes on TV, he has made a name for himself in NECW and throughout New England.  Now kids watch NECW on Comcast on Demand at home and dream of one day being like their hero, Kris Pyro.

New England Championship Wrestling General Manager, Paul Richard and manager, “Mr. Fabulous” Tony Ulysses will be among the inductees in the 2010 class of the New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.

Richard has had a distinguished career in pro wrestling, starting out as one of the youngest referees in wrestling history and going on to become New England promoter for the original ECW. Tony Ulysses had a distinguished in ring career prior to become a manager.

Many other local and national stars will be in attendance for this event which takes place on Sunday, April 18 at the Brotherhood of the Holy Ghost Charity Hall, 59 Brightridge Ave., East Providence, RI. There will be a fan fest and autograph session the day before featuring such stars as Rick Martel, Larry Zbyszko, Bill DeMott, Adam Bomb and many more.

NECW presented the winter tradition, GENESIS 9, Saturday, February 27 at the South Shore Field House in Pembroke, MA in front of a very vocal and energetic crowd.

In the opening bout, a one-fall four-man match with the winner being named the number one contender for the NECW Television Championship, “Sensational” Scott Levesque defeated Ryan Bisbal after a flagrant low blow behind the ref’s back. Also competing in the match were Alex Payne and “The Talent” TJ Richter, accompanied by Mr. Munroe and Mr. Mini-roe.

NECW Television Champion “The Heat” Kris Pyro defeated “The Natural” Scott Osbourne, with “Rock God” Brett Adams, to retain the title following a frog splash.

In what was truly a “GENESIS moment”, Pat’s Pit started with a bang as the Boston Gaelic Fire Brigade bagpipes and drums played Pat “The Brat” Piper to the ring. Piper called out Handsome Johnny to settle their score. It was obvious that Piper had tampered with the ballots for the wrestlers representing them, as Handsome Johnny was chosen by Piper to represent himself, and much to Handsome’s surprise, Jason Blade made a return to represent Pat Piper. Jason Blade countered Handsome Johnny and scored a roll-up out of a head scissors to win the match and to assure Pat Piper that Pat’s Pit would continue on, and “A Handsome Moment” would never see the light of day.

Next up, “The Golden Greek” Alex Arion, with “The Manager of Champions” Sean Gorman was scheduled to face off with “The Daddy Cat” DC Dillinger. Just as the bell rang, Arion forearmed referee Rob Teutel and lost the match by disqualification. As Arion and Gorman left the ring laughing that they had officially participated in the match, NECW had no recourse on them. NECW General Manager Paul Richard came to ringside and announced that he wasn’t going to allow that decision to stand. The match would be restarted and now was a “No Disqualification” bout. Dillinger and Arion then tore into each other, brawling all over the South Shore Field House venue. Finally, Dillinger hit a huge big boot to the face of Arion. He went for the cover, but then pulled Arion up. Dillinger again hit a big boot. Once again, he picked Arion up. At this point, people in the crowd were yelling for him to do it one more time. Dillinger obliged. Instead of going for a pin, he exited the ring and got the ring bell. Dillinger waited for Arion to get to his feet and then leveled “The Golden Greek” with the bell, as Arion had done to him months earlier. 3 Seconds later, Dillinger’s hand was raised by the referee. Sean Gorman left the ringside area in disgust well before Arion even recovered.

After intermission, the NECW Tag Team Champions The Crown Jewels, Bad Boy Jason and “Mr. Fabulous” Tony Ulysses came to the ring and announced that Darling Damon would not be there due to a family emergency and therefore both the Texas Tornado match and the Tag Title defense were canceled. The team of Rican Havoc, Jose Perez and Don Vega, came out followed by NECW General Manager Paul Richard. Richard announced that the Texas Tornado match WAS off… but he saw two Crown Jewels in the ring and the titles would still be on the line. Rican Havoc looked to have the titles wrapped up, when “Mr. Fabulous” hit Don Vega with the Puerto Rican flag for the blatant disqualification. Rican Havoc wins the match, but The Crown Jewels retain the titles.

The next match was the first ever World Women’s Wrestling Toxic Waltz for #1 contendership to the WWW Title. Champion Alexxis Nevaeh sat at ringside doing commentary for the match with Joe Matterazzo and Caleb Seltzer. The first two women chosen at random to enter were Taeler Hendrix and Kimaya. Taeler hit a high head kick to win the first fall. Kimaya picked Sammi Lane as the next competitor. Sammi attempted to use her Teddy Bear (which at this point is assumed to be loaded with something), but Taeler ducked and scored another high head kick to win the second fall. Sammi sent out Amber as the next opponent. Amber evened her score with Taeler, hitting an enziguri for the win. Taeler said that they were now 1-1 in their feud, but she knew someone who Amber never had beaten, former WWW Champion “The Portuguese Princess” Ariel. Amber held her own with Ariel, but soon fell to the Dariel ace crusher. Amber then called out Puerto Rican sensation Ivy. Ivy managed to counter the Dariel after some great action with a backslide to win the next fall. Ariel called out Nikki Valentine, who was pinned a few minutes later again by Ivy. This brought out the final woman of the match, Mistress Belmont, with “The Manager of Champions” Sean Gorman. Belmont attacked Ivy and pummeled her for the next five or so minutes. Ivy countered an attempted slam into a pinning combo and was able to score the pin fall and become the #1 contender to the WWW Championship. After the match, Belmont again attacked Ivy and placed her in the crossface chickenwing submission. Alexxis Nevaeh ran to the ring and chased off Belmont, before helping her friend and now top contender to her feet.

The main event of GENESIS 9 was up next as “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke with “Rock God” Brett Adams got his shot at the NECW Triple Crown Championship held for nearly two years by “The Enforcer” Max Bauer. Bauer seemed to have the match in hand, basically having his way with Locke. As Bauer went to the top rope, Adams grabbed his leg. Senior Official Rich Bass went and began threatening Adams with ejection. Bauer then hit the ropes and accidentally collided with Bass, who tried to get out of the way, but twisted his knee. Everyone in the match looked a bit confused as Bass angrily told NECW management that “he heard a pop” and was then helped from the ring. While this was occurring, “The Rock God” attempted to attack “The Enforcer”. Bauer gave him a huge chokeslam for his troubles. Bauer then delivered the same crushing move to Brandon Locke. Ref Rob Teutel ran to the ring for the pin, but Locke kicked out at 2. Locke’s “Real Natural” stable mate, “The Natural” Scott Osbourne, ran out and was quickly dished out over the top rope by Bauer. Bauer grabbed Locke and placed him up in the position for the Bauer-bomb and delivered the move. As the pinfall was about to be counted, Sammi Lane came to the ring and put Locke’s foot on the rope in front of the referee. Teutel exited the ring and began to admonish Lane, while Bauer looked at her confused as to her presence and involvement. Osbourne returned to the ring as Bauer lifted Locke for another Bauer-bomb and leveled him with the Triple Crown belt. As the ref turned around, he saw Locke on top of Bauer and counted the pin fall. Amidst the controversy “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke did what no one else could do for the last two years. He is now the new NECW Triple Crown Champion.

GENESIS 9 will be available on DVD online and at live events later this month. NECW returns to live action on Saturday night, March 30 at the National Guard Armory in Quincy, MA for another television taping. Tickets for that event will be on sale this week.

We kick this week off with the announcement that there is a new NECW Triple Crown Champion.  “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke brought the near 2 year title reign of Max Bauer to a halt in one of the most controversial title bouts in NECW history.  We have words from the new champion, along with his manager, ‘The Rock God” Brett Adams and “The Natural” Scott Osbourne.

In ring action begins with the sensational Ryan Bisbal taking on an impressive newcomer in Biff Busick.  From there, it’s World Women’s Wrestling action, as Mistress Belmont, managed by Sean Gorman, squares off against Taeler Hendrix.

In our TV main event, it’s the return to in-ring competition for Handsome Johnny, with Sammi Lane in his corner as he takes on the popular “Epic” Mike Bennett.

With just days before one of NECW’s biggest events of the year, GENESIS 9, this Saturday night, February 27 at the South Shore Field House in Pembroke, MA, the latest edition of New England Championship Wrestling is now available to New England area Comcast cable subscribers via Video On Demand and to everyone else here online.

This week’s action kicks off with “The Talent” T.J. Richter, accompanied by Mr. Munroe and Mr. Mini-Roe, as he takes on ewcomer, Vinny Marseglia.

Pat “The Brat” Piper has the two main event participants in this week’s Pat’s Pit, as NECW Triple Crown Champion, “The Enforcer” Max Bauer meets “The Real Deal” Brandon Locke face to face before their championship match at GENESIS 9.

Caleb Seltzer talk to Taeler Hendrix about the most unique women’s bout ever presented, the first ever Women’s Toxic Waltz, to take place this Saturday at GENESIS 9 and end up involved in an unexpected confrontation.

And in our TV main event, the NECW Tag Team Championship is on the line as the reigning champions, The Crown Jewels defend against Rican Havoc members, Ryan Bisbal and Jose Perez.

NECW TV Taping • February 20th • Quincy National Guard Armory

Saturday night, February 20th at the National Guard Armory, 1000 Hancock Street in Quincy, MA with a 7 PM bell time. NECW presents its monthly television taping for Comcast On Demand.

All matches that night will be taped for NECW’s new weekly TV program online and on Comcast On Demand.
