Joining us this week is one of the most unique figures and unique stories in pro wrestling.  Robbie Ellis is one of the oldest active pro wrestliers in the game, making appearances for independent companies throughout the Northeast.  Ellis, however, leads a double life as a high end art dealer, running a very successful art gallery in Portland, Maine.  Ellis is the subject of a new documentary movie called “Canvasman” and we’ll discuss this most intriguing individual in depth this week.

This week we feature part 2 of a special 2 part interview with author Larry Matysik, the former assistant to NWA founder and president, the late Sam Munchnik, who went on to become the voice of St. Louis wrestling and later a booker and promoter, as well as having worked for the World Wrestling Federation as part of the company’s national expansion in the mid-80’s.  In part two, we get an insight into the mid-80’s expansion of the WWF through Matysik’s eyes, as well as his take on the current wrestling scene.  A lot of great stories and views are shared in this interview.
